Welcome to the Applied Plant Ecology lab at Chico State!

We are part of the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department, in the College of Natural Sciences.  I work with undergraduate students majoring in Environmental Science - Applied Ecology option and with graduate students in the M.S. in Environmental Sciences and the Wildland Management through the Interdisciplinary MS degree program.  The research we do answers questions that will inform management decisions. Broadly, I am a plant ecologist interested in disturbance and restoration ecology.  

My research interests: plant ecology, disturbance interactions, fire ecology, restoration ecology, wetland and riparian ecology, trophic interactions, GIS, landscape ecology, community ecology
