Prospective Graduate students

The Earth & Environmental Sciences Department offers a Master's of Environmental Sciences degree.  If you are interested in my field of research, feel free to email me to introduce yourself. Please include what topics interest you and why, and attach your resume and a writing sample.

In addition, Chico State has a master's degree in Wildland Management (through the Interdisciplinary Studies MS program). I advise students through this program and I would be happy to answer any questions about the program as well.

Prospective Undergraduate students

If you are an Environmental Sciences - Applied Ecology student going into your senior year with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, we should chat about potential honors project work.  This is a year long project (ERTH 499H) and upon successful completion, you graduate with honors in Environmental Science.  Let's start this conversation during your junior year.
If you are interested in gaining experience in the field or lab, email me about potential semester (ERTH 399/499) or summer opportunities.
